I guess this may have been something that has been on the cards for sometime, but after this announcement from Andertons, perhaps things aren't looking too good at all for Cornford. It also appears that their website has gone down. Hopefully, manufacturing could be placed elsewhere and these fantastic amps continue to be made. I really love my Cornford Roadhouse 30 Combo (aside from the weight!) and feel fortunate enough to have owned an amp which has had a great heritage and more importantly a great sound! If we dig a bit deeper, the writing maybe have been on the wall for a while, loosing Guthrie Govan as an endorsee, the creation of the Roadhouse series (PCB based rather than hand-wired) and no new models etc for a long time. It is also sad for British industry too, another loss potentially in the market place, at a time when manufacturing and innovation should really be thriving.PeaceNeil
