Just seen a press release about the new Action Strings from Native Instruments. Up until now, even a very heavy Native Instruments users (primarily absynth, Reaktor and Kontakt....download my free Absynth patches here), I haven't really gotten on with their add on packs (although Alicia Keys is a fantastic sounding piano!), instead using Kontakt based instruments from other companies, such as the simply Amazing Spitfire Albion and Cinesamples. But, having just seen this I am certainly very interested. Whilst Spitfire has Ostinatum, I haven't always managed to get it to work the way I wanted it to work and in some cases have taken a different approached, you can hear examples hereandBut the ease of programming with Actions Strings certain does mean I am going to be giving it a very close look, tied in with the fact that samples sound really really good!!PeaceNeil
