Today has been filled with lots of editing (again), which is good, although once again, the issues of multi format footage in Final Cut reared it's ugly head. It is frustrating on a quick job, when you just want to make some edits (to an interview), put on some titles, and overlay a backing soundtrack, and you don't really want to stop and render all your footage into the same format, you just want to snip and go. I was wondering if the amount of time I spend in FCP 'rendering' selections actually ends up being more than it would be to start of rendering all the footage...probably! The thing is though, as I said the other day, the creative juices are flowing, it is a quick job and you just want to get it done. I am finding it more and more interesting this year, as I a beginning to convince myself that perhaps moving back to PC is the way forward, and that is quite a scary thought!In other news, only a couple of days now until I start my course at Berklee, and I am so excited!!PeaceNeil
