Logic Studio for Post Production

I stumbled across this article which discusses the use of Logic studio for Post Production audio. I think it makes extremely interesting reading, I think that their move from Soundtrack Pro (dead) to Logic would of course lend itself to a much better end user experience and a much better feature set...and so so so so so much less buggy!! I think their choices are very well explained and valid and it shows that there were most importantly able to do their work and deliver (this most important thing). Having done a number of audio post projects in Logic, I am not sure I could be swayed back from Digital Performer, as I feel personally precision audio editing is such a pain in Logic, as well as the implementation of cross fades, that there is no way back. I would say in Logic's defence though, I love how you can bounce your audio to the video straight off, that is such a time saver and works flawlessly! We will have to see what Logic X brings, but I doubt that it will focus on the Post Production side of things, but more of the garageband experience (so that is my own opinion). Interesting reading all the same!PeaceNeil
