Adrift in space floating slowly towards the singularity, this piece is a journey through the darkness. The soundscape of a dying spacecraft as debris hits the hull as the ship floats towards in the inevitable single point of light and darkness.
Reflections of past and future voices, alien or human punctuate the drones of space. This is music to relax to, to dream, to imagine.
This piece was written using Fundamental from Soniclab, the plugin collaboration of Hainbach and Sinan Bökesoy. Still awesome, in addition to Metaphysical Function in Reaktor 6, Audiothing’s Wires, Eventide Blackhole and some Waves pitch-shifting.
All recorded in Reaper using a surround panner as plugin matrix as a way to create an effects control to morph between different layers of effects within the 3D soundscape.
