So this piece resembles the sound of my brain!! Needless to say, from tomorrow all things Piece a day / daily creation challenge are going to get interesting....why? Well 1)Film festival 2)Very very limited time 3) Very very limited access to gear/internet!!Let the challenge begin!EnjoyPeaceNeil

Daily Creation Challenge | Day 85 - Summer is here...in March

Title says it all really! What was going on with the weather today!! wow over 20 degrees in Manchester....in March!!So today, so specially design sounds and some more designed sounds!Short description today as my internet is pathetically slow as usual! 30 mins to upload a 1MG file!! Thanks BT, you are such a great company!! (yes I am being sarcastic! In nearly a year, the best I have had is intermittent broadband, if I am lucky and they still can't fix the problem...grrr!!)EnjoyPeaceNeil

Daily Creation Challenge | Day 84 - Confusion

Well back to normal (ish) today! The main reason for the rush of yesterday's piece was due to the fact we had a Royal visit at work, which I had to film and edit and get out to the world in record time (you can see it here) and film more interviews with Jenny Murray, Harold Riley and Mark Thompson and do even more stuff, so there was literally not a second spare, especially as I knew that I would be possibly going out afterwards, and could be sure I would get dcc done before midnight. The other problem was that I only had Garageband on the Mac I was working on, so that is why it was done as it was!! I was quite pleased though as the technology worked and it proved that even on the most busy of busy days, this is still possible!! The next test is next week at the Dead by Dawn film festival!!So today, was back to my old favourite Absynth and some Omnisphere! Omnisphere is simple awesome, as I have said on many occasions, but I still love Absynth as I know it inside out and upside down and can get it to do most of the things I want it to do!!EnjoyPeaceNeil
