Wow it has been three weeks now!! The 21st piece! It has proved to be some challenge, but a good one! It is really forcing me to compose, forcing me to do new things, forcing me to get back into composing after far too long making films!! Although I am not having much time currently to really sit down and get my teeth into a piece, it is certainly proving to be a great discipline to get into, it is also highlighting to me a lot of my weak areas and areas where I need to improve and areas where I want to and need to learn more. Today's piece is back to something which I would traditionally create, I guess if I had a style, this piece would be in my style.The piece is made up by butchering sounds in Spectrasonics Omnisphere, Spectrasonics RMX (without the two of the best plug-in's ever, the third being Camelaudio's Alchemy!), a couple of patches in Native Instrument's Reaktor and topped off with Tonehammer's (Sadly now closed down) Francesca vocal library, all put together in Logic 9 (for those of you who care!). As with everything I do, there is a fair bit of mangling, re-amping and running stuff through crazy stuff.
