How do you write 'production' music?

A recent #askbrucie question posed the question ‘What is production music?’. Now this is a question which requires quite a bit of exploration to fully explain. Therefore it only seemed right to do a new video series on Production music, or as it may also be known, library music or media music.

In these videos, we look at an introduction to what production music is and how it works, the processes involved in creating relevant material and the whole writing and distribution process.

I examine the first stages of developing ideas, themes and concepts, with advices on do's and dont’s.

Setting up a DAW, the importance of colour palettes and mood boards, cut downs and timings, hit points and endings and so much more. Head over to the YouTube channel and watch the series and do subscribe to the channel to be notified when a new video is released.
